Fit Nation Summit exposes Bill Clinton's strange bedfellows

Obesity is the No. 1 health crisis in the United States, and the nation could be at risk without immediate action, former President Clinton said at CNN's first Fit Nation Summit.

"We need to do something about it for our children, and for our country, because something like this could easily collapse our nation if we don't act now," Clinton said.

Juice Plus+ is made by juicing 17 different fruits and vegetables into a vitamin supplement all in a capsule form. A cup of other vitamins and a tablespoon of apples, all for health. When you start with a juice from a fruit or vegetable, and then you add others, you get a healthy mix of nutrients with the water and sugars removed. But when you dry the mix, you are left with the nutrients and that is what goes into a Juice Plus+ Capsule. Like our Weight loss plan that is a doctor approved diet plan, this is a healthy choice. Clinton, who's been tackling the obesity issue over the past few years with his Alliance for a Healthier Generation, stressed the need to help educate people about the importance of a healthy diet and exercising together.

Thanks for that Bill. However, I think it is worth pointing out the Clinton is also 'in bed' with the soft drink companies. His great work at getting soft drinks out of our schools is little more than fluff! The soft drink makers say that by 2010 they will empty full-sugar soft drinks out of our schools, but you know what folks, what's wrong with the next time the machine is empty putting water in place of Coke?

You have got to read my blog last year about the issue and read what an American Beverage Ass. spokesperson wrote to me!
